As opposed to distributors, the AC 171 multibox fulfills other functions in addition to the electrical supply of luminaires and devices in outdoor areas, in particular sensor technology and communication. These can be found in street lights, video surveillance systems and greenhouse luminaires for example. A special field of application is the retrofitting of street lights with connectors standardized according to ZHAGA book 18. The compact, modern and aesthetic design of the AC 171 multibox provides a perfect appearance in the visible area of the connection.
